A research group funded by The Carnegie Corporation to probe the multi-levels of the Black Experience. This was an interdisciplinary group comprised of anthropologists, social workers, lawyers, engineers. Several months were spent abroad to research the Mediterranean societies which were impacted by African civilizations from antiquity. The lead consultant on this project studied under John Hope Franklin Ph.D., Arthur Logan and Frank Snowden Ph.D. at Howard University. The lead resource book was authored by Dr. Snowden…Blacks in Greek and Roman Antiquity. My assignment was to make an inventory of information related to the Carthaginian and Arabic civilizations in the Mediterranean Region.


Wrote a proposal for refunding of Black Analysis Inc. Minority Group Doctoral Fellowship Program by Head Start, Department of Health Education and Welfare. (This project was funded.)


Carried out research for proposal-writing leading to funding of child welfare programs; doctoral program in early childhood education; economic development proposals for community development, such as, senior citizens' housing project, low-moderate income housing in urban renewal areas. prepared analytical summaries and reports for use by funding sources, such as, foundations, State Government Agencies, Federal Government Agencies, which led to refunding of initial start programs. Evaluated programs for refunding and participated in "think tank" reviews.
